41 <br /> such table , or shall keep in the same room more than one such ten <br /> pin or box ball or bowling alley, that the annual license fee shall <br /> be fifteen dollars( $15.00) for one such table and ten dollars( 10.00) <br /> for each additional table , and ten dollars( 10.00) for one such <br /> alley, and five dollars( $5.00) for each additional alley. Tie <br /> license fee to be charged by said city for each card table is hereby <br /> fixed at the sum of ten dollars($10.00) per year for each such table; <br /> provided, however, that when a person, firm or corporation shall <br /> keep in the same room more than one such table that the annual <br /> license fee shall be ten dollars( ''10.00) for one such table and five <br /> dollars( 45.00)for each additional table . No license mentioned herein <br /> shall be granted for a longer period than one(1)year from date thereof. <br /> Section 3: That Section 3 of Ordinance No,1596 of the city of <br /> Everett is hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> "Section. 3: Any person, firm or corporation, who shall violate <br /> any of the terms or provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed <br /> guilty of a misdemeanor and rn ocnviction thereof shall be subject <br /> to a fine of nct exceeding one hundred dollars( $100.00)or imprison- <br /> ment for a period not exceeding thirty( 30)days for each offense , <br /> and each day that any person, firm or corporation shall keep any <br /> billiard, pool, pigeon-hole or card table, or ten pin alley, for <br /> hire without first having obtained a license therefor, shall be deemed <br /> to be a separate offense under this ordinance . <br /> Section 4: An emergency is hereby declared to exist , and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and <br /> publication. <br /> Mayor <br /> Passed: �i-- - - <br /> Attest : Z;7 <br /> Ci yCie k <br /> Published: rJ% _ <br />
