The comments below must be addressed before a permit can be issued. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments including Public Works, Planning, and Fire. Code citations provided in the following review comments reference the Everett Municipal Code (EMC), the 2021 International Building Code (IBC), the 2021 International Existing Building Code (IEBC), 2021 the Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), the 2021 Washington Mechanical Code (WAMC/IMC) and the 2021 Washington Plumbing Code (WAPC/UPC). Additional reference standards are listed in IBC Chapter 35. Amendments to the adopted building codes by Washington Administrative Code (WAC) Title 51 are incorporated into the referenced code citations. For the processing of your application to continue, the following documentation shall be submitted to the Building Division for review: a. Itemized response letter addressing the comments provided below. b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings. Submittal documents shall contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project for compliance with the adopted codes. Only include drawings that are relevant to the work and remove any and all contradictory drawings or details.
