November 7, 2024 <br />HWA Project No. 2024-P272-21 <br />Scope of Work 4 HWA GeoSciences Inc. <br />DELIVERABLES: <br />• Monthly status reports and invoices <br />• Subsurface Exploration Work Plan Memorandum <br />• Draft and Final Geotechnical Engineering Report <br />ASSUMPTIONS: <br />• No geotechnical data report or baseline report will be generated as part of this work. <br />• All costs are estimated and may be increased or decreased within the limits of the total <br />budget at the discretion of HWA's project manager. <br />• Site reconnaissance is limited to observation of existing topography and features; no <br />excavation or subsurface exploration will be conducted during site reconnaissance. <br />• The City will provide all necessary permits for the exploration work, including street-use <br />permit, right-of-way permits, right-of-entry permits, and temporary construction <br />easements (if required), at no cost to HWA. <br />• CPT locations will be located using handheld GPS and/or measurement from existing <br />known features. <br />• Utility locates, via the One-Call Utility Locate Center will be comprehensive and <br />accurate enough to allow reliable and safe location for explorations. Vacuum extraction <br />of CPT locations is not included. <br />• The geotechnical explorations proposed herein will not be used to assess site <br />environmental conditions. <br />• HWA assumes no coring will not be required prior to pushing the proposed. <br />• No Phase 1 or Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessment will be completed by the HWA. <br />• All CPT test conducted through the pavement will be patched with quick drying cement <br />or Aquaphalt. Saw cutting of the pavement or hot mix asphalt patches will not be <br />completed. <br />• The CPT test locations will be surveyed by others. <br />• All field works will be accomplished during normal daylight workdays and hours, with at <br />least a minimum of 8 hours available per day. <br />• Neither site specific PSHA nor site specific response analyses are included in this scope. <br />• Pavement investigation and pavement design is not part of this scope of work. <br />
