One sample (1) was collected from the stockpile of
excavated soils.
The samples were transported from 2914 Rucker Avenue to the Krazan office in Lynnwood, Washington,
where they were then delivered to a Washington State-certified laboratory following proper chain-of-
custody procedures.
1.2 Sampling Methodology
1.2.1 Soil Sampling
During Krazan's November 11, 2024, sampling event, two (2) composite soil samples (S5 & S6) were
collected from a site stockpile and the excavation bottom beneath a removed UST. The stockpile
composite sample was collected by combining soil from three (3) discrete samples taken at different
depths, but at least 6 inches below the stockpile surface (bss), in a clean stainless-steel bowl. The
excavation bottom sample was collected by combining soil from three (3) discrete samples, taken at
different areas, in a clean stainless-steel bowl. Soil samples were then extracted from the bowls and
placed into clean 4-ounce glass jars provided by the laboratory utilizing a clean stainless-steel spoon. The
soil samples were placed into clean glassware provided by the laboratory utilizing a clean stainless-steel
