Tacoma,WA 98402 . 253.627.9131 phone • 253.627.4730 fax . huitt-zollars.com <br /> Permanent Stormwater System Summary: <br /> Existing catch basins will be adjusted to match finish grade.Two additional catch basins are <br /> provided to drain a low point in the proposed grading adjacent to a new curb island. <br /> Engineering Calculations <br /> Not required. <br /> SECTION 5: OFFSITE ANALYSIS <br /> QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS: No stormwater issues have been identified within 1/4 mile of the <br /> project site. Stormwater management onsite is proposed to meet LID standards. Flow control <br /> and water quality treatment are not required. <br /> SECTION 6: CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLAN <br /> Per the City of Everett Design and Construction Standards &Specifications for Development and <br /> Erosion Control Manual (DDECM) the 13 elements of the construction SWPPP are addressed as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. Preserve Vegetation/Mark Clearing Limits: The clearing limits will be marked with high <br /> visibility plastic fence and temporary chain-link fencing. <br /> 2. Establish Construction Access:Construction access will be through the existing park entrance. <br /> 3. Control Flow Rates: Flow rates will be controlled through the sequencing of construction to <br /> minimize disturbance and placement of gravel in areas of exposed soils.Additionally,silt fence <br /> along with will be provided at all downstream edge of property and will provided additional <br /> flow control. <br /> 4. Install Sediment Controls: Sediment control shall be installed as the first order of work to <br /> protect sediment entering stormwater facilities. Inlet protection shall be installed on all catch <br /> basins adjacent to the project limits. <br /> 5. Stabilize Soils: Soils will be stabilized through the placement of gravel,through straw wattles, <br /> mulching and through hydroseeding. <br /> 6. Protect Slopes: Exposed soils on slopes will be protected by maintaining a maximum slope of <br /> 2:1 and through the use of straw wattles and hydroseeding when work in those areas is <br /> complete. <br /> 7. Protect Drain Inlets: Drain inlets are being protected from sediment with silt fence and inlet <br /> protection BMPs. <br /> 8. Stabilize Channels and Outlets:There are no proposed drainage channels or outlets with the <br /> temporary erosion and sediment control plan. <br /> 9.
