Stormwater management onsite is proposed to meet LID standards. Flow control
and water quality treatment are not required.
SECTION 6: CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLAN
Per the City of Everett Design and Construction Standards &Specifications for Development and
Erosion Control Manual (DDECM) the 13 elements of the construction SWPPP are addressed as
follows:
1. Preserve Vegetation/Mark Clearing Limits: The clearing limits will be marked with high
visibility plastic fence and temporary chain-link fencing.
2. Establish Construction Access:Construction access will be through the existing park entrance.
3. Control Flow Rates: Flow rates will be controlled through the sequencing of construction to
minimize disturbance and placement of gravel in areas of exposed soils.Additionally, silt fence
along with will be provided at all downstream edge of property and will provided additional
flow control.
4. Install Sediment Controls: Sediment control shall be installed as the first order of work to
protect sediment entering stormwater facilities. Inlet protection shall be installed on all catch
basins adjacent to the project limits.
5. Stabilize Soils: Soils will be stabilized through the placement of gravel, through straw wattles,
mulching and through hydroseeding.
6. Protect Slopes: Exposed soils on slopes will be protected by maintaining a maximum slope of
2:1 and through the use of straw wattles and hydroseeding when work in those areas is
complete.
7. Protect Drain Inlets: Drain inlets are being protected from sediment with silt fence and inlet
protection BMPs.
8. Stabilize Channels and Outlets:There are no proposed drainage channels or outlets with the
temporary erosion and sediment control plan.
9. Control Pollutants: Truck fueling will take place offsite, settlement and silt will be managed
through the BMPs identified, and no other pollutants are expected to be used on site.
Fairway Estates MHC Entry Huitt-Zollars
Stormwater Drainage Report December 15,2023
Everett,Washington Page 6
