9. Provide source specific exhaust fans in all laundry rooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Show on floor <br /> plan(s). (City of Everett does not review electrical plans.) <br /> 10. Specify which "Whole House Ventilation System" per section M1507.3.3 you will be using. Provide <br /> the requirements of the whole house ventilation system you will be using, do not simply reference <br /> the code section (whole house exhaust fan sone rating shall be 1.0 or less, not 1.5 as is shown on <br /> drawing). <br /> 11. Provide minimum 36-inch landing at all exterior entrance/exits not more than 7-3/4" below the <br /> finished floor. Show on plans and site plan. <br /> 12. All section drawings should show all framing members. Show all plates, headers, studs, furring, <br /> blocking etc. <br /> 13. Provide one-hour fire-resistance rated construction on the underside of the overhangs on the South <br /> side of the proposed SFR, with no ventilation openings allowed. Provide detail of construction. <br /> 14. Provide attic ventilation calculations. Show size and location of all attic ventilation on plans. <br /> 15. Provide insulation baffles to maintain minimum 1" clear air space over insulation. Baffle shall extend <br /> minimum 12 inches vertically above the insulation. Show requirement on plans. <br /> 16. Provide minimum 22"x30" attic access, with minimum 30" clearance over opening. Show location on <br /> plans. <br /> 17. The Washington State Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality Code (VIAQ) is no longer in effect. It has <br /> been replaced by the Whole House Ventilation System required in Section M1507.3 of the IRC. (See <br /> #10 above). Please corrector remove the references. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division <br /> with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. Please include a <br /> response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br /> All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International Residential Code (IRC), <br /> and/or the 2015 Washington State Residential Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington <br /> and adopted by the City of Everett. <br /> These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other <br /> departments (such as Utilities, Traffic, Planning or Fire).
