Continuing with Structural Comments 2 and 3, the lateral design for the first-story walls may <br /> alternatively be performed per the provisions of the IBC. See Section R301.1.3. Structural <br /> calculations substantiating the design should be submitted for review. <br /> This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and <br /> amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made <br /> during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit <br /> requirements.
