The code should be referenced on Sheet A001; this sheet appears to include conflicting design criteria referencing the 2018 International Building Code. Note that based on the original date of the submittal to the City of Everett, the project is allowed to comply with the 2015 IBC; the 2018 edition is an acceptable alternative. The attic space has up to an approximate 7-foot head clearance and is designed for a 40psf live load. The space appears intended to storage or occupied use, and should be provided with a fixed stairway complying with Section R311.7. See Table R301.5. Construction requirements are specified in Section C1. The drawings should specify a listing for a tested assembly substantiating proposed construction. Note that the wall framing is not continuous to the roof sheathing; the listing should account for the roof truss portion of the wall, or an alternative listing should be provided.
