Compressive strength (14 -day strength) 1 <br />data shall be submitted to the Engineer for use in determination of a 2 <br />conversion factor of flexural strength to compressive strength, which will be 3 <br />used by the Engineer for strength acceptance testing. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Mix designs submitted by the Contractor shall provide a unique identification 6 <br />for each proposal and shall include test data confirming that concrete made 7 <br />in accordance with the proposed design will meet the requirements of these 8 <br />Specifications. Test data shall be from an independent testing lab or from a 9 <br />commercial concrete producer’s lab. If the test data is developed at a 10 <br />producer’s lab, the Engineer or a representative may witness all testing. 11 <br /> 12 <br />3. Mix Design Modifications. The Contractor may initiate minor adjustments to 13 <br />the approved mix proportions. A plus or minus 100 pound variation in both 14 <br />the coarse and fine aggregate target weight will be allowed from the 15 <br />approved Contractor provided mix design weight as a modification without 16 <br />re-submittal. The Contractor shall notify the Engineer in writing of any such 17 <br />proposed modification. 18 <br /> 19 <br />5-05.3(8) Joints 20 <br />Section 5-05.3(8) is supplemented with the following: 21 <br /> 22 <br />The Contractor shall submit a detailed jointing plan, including the entire roadway 23 <br />footprint, to the Engineer for review and approval. The jointing plan shall include 24 <br />jointing around structures and at curb radii. Joint spacing shall be per the typical joint 25 <br />spacing noted in the Plans and any adjustments from the typical joint spacing must 26 <br />be approved by the Engineer. The jointing plan shall also include the Contractor’s 27 <br />crack control methods. 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br />5-05.4 Measurement 31 <br />Section 5-05.4 is supplemented with the following: 32 <br /> 33 <br />Replace Cement Concrete Panel including tie bars and dowel bars will be measured by 34 <br />the square yard for the completed pavement. 35 <br /> 36 <br />5-05.5 Payment 37 <br />Section 5-05.5 is supplemented with the following: 38 <br /> 39 <br />“Replace Cement Concrete Panel”, per square yard. 40 <br />The unit Contract price per square yard for “Cement Conc.
