The project includes a 10-foot tall free-standing sign per Sheet 1. Note "G" states to
provide a foundation as required. The drawings should include a design for the
foundation and interior structural supports. The foundation should be designed for wind
loading per ASCE 7-16 Chapter 26. Calculations substantiating the design should be
submitted for review. See IBC Sections 1607.2.1, 1603.1, and 1609.1.
Response: This had been added to the brand book on pages 1 & 2. You will find
engineering dictati ` City of Everett Permit Review ctural supports. The
foundation is desic .
'EVERETT Status: Approved
WASHINGTON
2. The wall-moi 10/03/2023 3:46:08 PM ;tail for the connection
should be included in the drawings. The detail should include but is not limited to the
type and size (e.g., diameter, etc.), and minimum embedment. It is anticipated that this
is a drilled-in anchor; the detail should specify that the anchor installation should not
damage the wall reinforcement. See IBC Section 1072.1.
