• <br /> 7. Provide gravity calculations for 4x6 post supporting 5.5 x 13.5 glue laminated beam. <br /> 8. Specify length and spacing of dowels connecting new foundation to existing residences. <br /> 9. Decks shall be designed for both vertical and lateral loads (R507.2.3 (2)) IRC. Show <br /> location and specify connections proposed to resist lateral loads. <br /> 10. Ledger attachment shown on the plans calls for a minimum 6x blocking in full height <br /> ' studs. Provide detail for platform framing with attachment to rim joist. Specify <br /> placement of lag screws and/ or bolts in ledger per figure R507.2.1 (1) IRC. Show on <br /> plans. <br /> 11. Provide deck section and/ or detail (s) specific to this structure. Specify all components <br /> including joist hangers, guard height, attachment, material, blocking (at guard) blocking <br /> (for overturning). <br /> 12. Provide footing(s) supporting landing and stairs on the west side or proposed addition. <br /> Show on plans. <br /> 13. Specify minimum u-value for all new fenestration equals u-0.3p or less. Per table <br /> R402.1.1 WSEC. <br /> 14. Specify which option from table 406.2"Energy Credits", you are using to get the 0.5 <br /> credits required for compliance with the WA State Energy Code. Show option chosen on <br /> the plans include the minimum equipment efficiency and (if required) flow rate. <br /> 15. Show all steps on plan view. <br /> 16.
