DeMun is qualified to perform the duties outlined in this program. Technical support is <br /> available via the consulting firm SD&C. Employees of Nelson Petroleum,Inc. are trained <br /> in various hazardous materials management (including procedures) and emergency <br /> response. Training records are maintained at the facility. <br /> Annual training of the Pollution Prevention Team will be conducted including review of <br /> the SWPPP. The training is organized to allow each team member to review the previous <br /> year's site inspections,storm water outfall conditions and other relevant storm water issues. <br /> Documentation of the training activities are recorded on a checklist form for each <br /> employee as identified in Appendix C. <br /> 3.6 Inspections <br /> The purpose of inspections is to identify stormwater outfall discharges exhibiting <br /> characteristics of possible contamination. The types of facility inspections required by the <br /> SWPPP include: <br /> • Annual comprehensive site compliance; <br /> • Monthly inspection of surface water collection systems, fuel dispensing equipment, <br /> secondary containment, and fuel transfer areas at the site; <br /> • Quarterly sampling of the storm water system and evaluation of water quality. <br /> The records from these monthly inspections,are quarterly sampling events are documented <br /> in the inspection form included as Appendix D of this SWPPP.The annual comprehensive <br /> site compliance evaluation is to be conducted by the regional coordinator. Material storage <br /> and handling areas will be inspected for evidence of actual or potential pollutant discharges <br /> to the drainage system. Spill response equipment, and storm water management controls <br /> will be inspected. Any necessary changes to the SWPPP will be noted and implemented. <br /> j Technical support is available via the consulting firm SD&C. <br /> i <br /> 3.7 Record Keeping and Reporting <br /> i <br /> Record keeping provides documentation of compliance and provides a basis for review of <br /> areas of improvement, and to identify areas needing improvement. Inspection records are <br /> maintained for a period of 3 years. Records are readily available to agency inspectors <br /> during inspections. Monthly inspection records are stored in a maintenance notebook at <br /> the main office which requires Kory DeMun's signature. Mark Nelson will follow-up on <br /> concern areas identified during weekly staff meetings. <br /> The storm water sampling program is discussed in Section 4 to this SWPPP. Analytical <br /> reports from the quarterly sampling are stored at the main facility. Nelson Petroleum, Inc. <br /> will provide regulatory agencies with reports as required on a quarterly basis. Each visual <br /> inspection report or check list will include all items required by Condition S7.C. <br /> i <br /> I <br />
