Treatment BMPs for Storage of Liquids in Above-ground Tanks and Tanker Trucks: • The tank containment area is covered and the aboveground tanks are capped and not in use. • Stormwater from the operational areas at the site is treated using a system of three oil water separators prior to manual discharge to the sanitary sewer. • The storm water system is equipped with a closed oil stop valve which directs water to a 4,500-gallon secondary containment vault. 3.11 Stormwater Peak Runoff and Volume Control BMPs No new development or redevelopment activities are being conducted at this site, and Storm Water Peak Runoff and Volume Controls BMPs are not required for this facility. 3.12 Erosion and Sediment Control BMPs Mandatory Erosion and Sediment Control BMPs required by Condition S3 of the Industrial Storm water General Permit. The Nelson Petroleum property is paved. No future development is planned for the facility. However, sediment and filtration controls may be evaluated if turbidity levels exceed regulatory standards at the site. If needed the filtration BMPs may be employed to remove solids from catch basins, sumps or other storm water collection and conveyance system components using filter socks, modular canisters, sand filtration,centrifugal separators, etc. i
