Connecting Multiple Water Heaters (Cascade Communication)
With use of cascade cable(s) up to 24 water heaters can be electronically connected. This connection will
rotate water heater operation order to ensure equal usage among the entire system and enables all water
heaters connected to modulate operation and function as one hot water source.
NOTE: For proper operation, do not combine different models with cascade communication.
Cascade Cable Required: _
• Cable Length: 26 ft. co
(8 m) OR
3-24
• Cable Length: 10 ft.
cs
(3 m) 2 a
0
• One cable required I 1 o
for each water Figure 51
heater. b„o , U
• Includes 1 cable and 2 cascade
jumpers.
Figure 52 Cascade
Cascade Cable Assembly Cable
1.
