This access hole must be plugged with non-combustible insulation after the gas supply line has <br /> been installed. <br /> Factory Built Fireplace Hearth Requirements <br /> • 1/2"of non-combustible material is required underneath the entire footprint of the insert. <br /> WARNING: A non-combustible hearth is not required in front of the appliance.
