The construction drawings should state the current design codes and <br /> standards applicable to the project. See IBC Sections 107.2.1 and EMC <br /> 16.005.030. <br /> Response:The required information is included in plan set.See A1.0. <br /> 2. The Massage Rooms are anticipated to have ceilings. The proposed work <br /> should be shown. Details for the ceiling construction should be provided. <br /> See IBC Sections 107.2.1. <br /> Response:The ceilings above the massage rooms are existing dropped ceilings. <br /> The massage rooms are enclosed by 8'tall new partition walls,not full height <br /> wall connecting to the ceiling.See 1/A1.1 for a section detail of new interior <br /> wall. <br /> 3. Details should be provided for the construction of the new interior walls. The <br /> details should include top and bottom connections to the supporting <br /> construction; where the walls are not continuous to the roof framing above, <br /> struts bracing the top of the walls should be provided. The walls and <br /> connections should be design to resisting a minimum 5 psf load. See IBC <br /> Sections 107.2.1 and 1607.15. <br /> Response:A section detail of the new wall is provided on detail 1/A1.1.The <br /> wall detail has been reviewed and evaluated by our structural engineer and a <br /> technical memo with calculation is provided to verify that bracing structs on <br /> the top of the walls are not required. <br /> � �3 <br />
