February 12, 2025 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., February 12, <br />2025, by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Zarlingo, Fosse, Bader, <br />Rhyne, Vogeli, Tuohy, and President Schwab were present. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />President Schwab moved Agenda Item No. 10 from Consent to Action and will be addressed <br />before Item No. 13. <br /> <br />The minutes of the February 5, 2025 meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin recognized and thanked the entire Community Support Team, and the City’s <br />Homelessness Response Coordinator Ben Breeden for the additional cold weather shelter for 30 <br />beds open through a partnership with the VOA and our Lady of Hope Church. She also provided <br />an update regarding Hope N Wellness and stated that she extended the Code Enforcement <br />deadline to April 30th. <br /> <br /> <br /> APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Vogeli, to concur with the <br />following appointments: <br /> <br /> Cultural Arts Commission <br />• Shaina Langley, Pos #4 – term expiring 12/31/2027 <br /> <br />Historical Commission <br />• Angela Di Filippo, Pos #3 – term expiring 12/31/2027 <br />• Brady Begin, Pos #4 – term expiring 12/31/2028 <br />• Robert Barren, Pos #9 – term expiring 12/31/2030 <br /> <br />
