of this ordinance shall vote a ballot containing the following statement of the said propostion by placing a cross (X) in the square printed on said ballot opposite and at the right of said statement, tomtit : AGAINST, the proposition for issuing park bonds of the city of Everett to an az.ount of $50,000.00 for the purpose of acquiring by purchase or condemnation, land and beaches for park purposes and for improving the several parks now owned or herein authorized to be acquired by said city. The two propositions above set forth shall be printed on a .dingle sheet and opposite and to the right of each st_..tement of the propositions to be voted upon there shall be printed a blank square, within which the voter shall by making a cross (X) indicate whether he voted in favor of or against the propositi n. submitted. Section 5 : If at the election held as provided in this ordinance, three-fifth of the qualfied voters of the city of Everett voting at said election upon the proposition h_ereintefore in this ordinance set forth, shall vote in favor of said proposition, thereupon the proposition as the same is set forth and described in section 3 of this ordinance for the issuing of park bonds of the city of Everett to an amount of "50,000.00 for the purpose of acquiring, by purchase or condemnation, land and beaches for park purposes and for improving the several parks now owned or to be acquired by said city, as provided in section 1 of this ordinance, shall be and become adopted by the City of Everett, and the City Council of Everett is hereby authorized to issue said bonds to an amount of $50,000.00 and to acquire an.d improve as herein specified.
