City of Everett Lift Station No. 1 Valve Replacement <br /> <br /> Scope of Services 3 <br />This scope of services includes design and bid assistance associated with the project elements <br />necessary to prepare bid documents and assist the City with bidding and awarding the project <br />for construction. Additional work for engineering services during construction can be <br />incorporated at a later date as an amendment to the agreement for these initial services. <br />Scope of Services <br />Task 100 – Project Management <br />Objectives <br />Monitor, control and adjust scope, schedule, and budget as well as provide monthly status <br />reporting, accounting, and invoicing. Also, provide coordination with BHC staff and City <br />personnel and conduct quality control (QC) reviews. <br />BHC Services <br />1. Coordinate and manage the project team. <br />2. Subcontract with and manage project subconsultants. BHC will subcontract with Landau <br />to provide permitting support as described under Task 200. <br />3. Prepare monthly status reports describing the following: <br />a. Services completed during the month. <br />b. Services planned for the next month. <br />c. Needs for additional information. <br />d. Scope/schedule/budget issues. <br />e. Schedule update and financial status summary. <br />f. An estimated cash flow (billing) forecast. <br />4. Prepare monthly invoices formatted in accordance with contract terms. <br />5. Project Manager will attend monthly project management meetings with the client and <br />will review project scope, schedule, and budget issues. <br />6. Provide QC review of deliverables prior to delivery in accordance with BHC QA/QC <br />policies. <br />7. Host web-conference meetings, if needed. <br />8. Prepare Scope of Services, Schedule, and Budget for engineering services during <br />construction. <br />City of Everett Responsibilities <br />1. Attend project management meetings. <br />2. Processing and payment of invoices in accordance with the Professional Services <br />Agreement. <br />3. Review and process contract change requests and amendments, if needed. <br />Assumptions and Meetings <br />1. Project management duties are limited to those associated with design and bid <br />assistance with an assumed duration of up to ten (10) months. <br />2. One project management meeting will be held via phone per month. One hour of project <br />manager time will be required for each meeting including preparation, attendance, <br />follow-up, and notes. <br />3. Invoices will be BHC standard invoice format. Each invoice will have a distinct number <br />for tracking purposes.
