The comments below must be addressed before a permit can be issued. These comments address Structural Building issues only. Additional comments may be issued by the Public Works, Planning, and Fire departments. Code citations provided in the following review comments reference the Everett Municipal Code (EMC), the 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2018 International Building Code (IBC), and the 2018 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC). Amendments to the adopted building codes by Washington Administrative Code (WAC) Title 51 are incorporated into the referenced code citations. Citations provided in the comments reference the IRC unless noted otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, the following documentation shall be submitted to Permit Services for review: a. Itemized letter addressing the comments provided below. b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings. c. Two copies of supplemental structural calculations (if applicable). d. One copy of the geotechnical report (if applicable). Submittal documents should contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project for compliance with the adopted building codes.
