Remove and replace Work not conforming to requirements of the Contract <br />Documents. <br />4. Remove samples of installed Work as specified for testing. <br />5. Install equipment and materials in existing structures. <br />6. Upon written instructions from the Architect, uncover and restore Work to provide <br />for Architect/Engineer observation of concealed Work. <br />C. Cut, remove and legally dispose off -site of selected mechanical equipment, components, <br />and materials, including but not limited to removal of mechanical piping, heating units, <br />plumbing fixtures and trim, and other mechanical items made obsolete by the new Work. <br />D. Protect the structure, furnishings, finishes, and adjacent materials not indicated or <br />scheduled to be removed. <br />E. Cut, channel, chase, and drill floors, walls, partitions, ceilings, and other surfaces <br />necessary for mechanical installations. Perform cutting by skilled mechanics of trades <br />involved. <br />F. Repair cut surfaces to match adjacent surfaces. <br />3.6 GROUTING <br />A. Install nonmetallic, nonshrink, grout for mechanical equipment base bearing surfaces, <br />pump and other equipment base plates, and anchors. Mix grout according to <br />manufacturer's written instructions. <br />B. Clean surfaces that will come into contact with grout. <br />C. Provide forms as required for placement of grout. <br />D. Avoid air entrapment during placing of grout. <br />E. Place grout, completely filling equipment bases. <br />F. Place grout on concrete housekeeping pads to provide smooth bearing surface for <br />equipment. <br />G. Place grout around anchors. <br />H.
