Rooftop Structural Design Report February 17, 2023
Project Number:DSH-062R1/2204047 Page 5
6.0 SUMMARY OF RESULTS
The following tables summarize the location and utilized percentage of available capacity for each component of
the mount. With consideration to the appropriate safety factors, 100% represents the full capacity of the
component. Percentages below 100% indicate available capacity and conformance of the component.
Percentages between 100% and 105% indicate an acceptable capacity. Percentages above 105% indicate an
overstressed situation requiring structural modification to ensure conformance with the applicable codes and
standards.
Based on our analysis results, the proposed enclosure base frame&the existing roof joists ARE within capacity
to support the loads under the current loading scenario.
Table 3a—Mount Component Stresses vs. Capacity(Enclosure Base Frame—Alpha)
Notes Component Critical Mount % Capacity Pass/Fail
Member Centerline (ft)
1 Antenna Pipe M3 63.5± 22.2 Pass
1 Horizontal M5 63.5± 56.8 Pass
1 Sleeper M8 63.5± 12.2 Pass
1 Connection Check - - 67.2 Pass
Table 3b—Mount Component Stresses vs. Capacity(FRP Enclosed Antenna Mounts—Beta)
Notes Component Critical Mount %Capacity Pass/Fail
Member Centerline(ft)
1 Antenna Pipe M2 63.5± 6.6 Pass
1 Box Connector M4 63.5± 23.4 Pass
1 Connection Check - - 48.7 Pass
Table 3b—Mount Component Stresses vs. Capacity (Enclosure Base Frame—Gamma)
Notes Component Critical Mount % Capacity Pass/Fail
Member Centerline (ft)
1 Antenna Pipe M2 63.5± 22.3 Pass
1 Horizontal M4 63.5± 73.8 Pass
1 Main Beam M9 63.5± 36.5 Pass
1 Support Beam M12 63.5± 12.2 Pass
1 Support Channel M15 63.5± 20.9 Pass
1 Diagonal Brace M21 63.5± 6.2 Pass
1 Sleeper M22 63.5± 55.1 Pass
1 Connection Check - - 68.3 Pass
Structure Rating (max from all components) = 73.8%
Notes:
1) See additional documentation in"Additional Calculations"for calculations supporting the%capacity consumed.
7.0 RECOMMENDATIONS
The proposed enclosure base frame, connections & existing roof joists have sufficient capacity to support the
proposed loading configuration. No modifications are required at this time.
ATTACHMENTS: Software Input Calculations, Wire Frame and Rendered Models Software Anal sis Ou444- tput
Additional Calculations, RF Data Sheet and Structural Design Dra i s ```$
imPgmriIIIIIIIII
Ifl
