Rooftop Structural Design Report February 17, 2023 <br /> Project Number:DSH-062R1/2204047 Page 4 <br /> 4.0 ANALYSIS PROCEDURE <br /> RISA-3D (version 20.0.5), a commercially available analysis software package, was used to create a three- <br /> dimensional model of the antenna mounting system and calculate member stresses for various loading cases. <br /> Wind and seismic loading on equipment for various loading cases were determined in accordance with <br /> ASCE 7-16. Selected output from the analysis is included in the report. <br /> 5.0 ASSUMPTIONS <br /> 1) The building,foundation, and antenna supporting mounts were constructed according to applicable code. <br /> 2) The building and antenna supporting mounting system have been maintained according to construction <br /> document and manufacturer's specifications. <br /> 3) The building and its components, including antenna supporting mounts have not been compromised. <br /> 4) The analysis will be required to be revised if the existing conditions in the field differ from those shown in <br /> the above-referenced documents or assumed in this analysis. No allowance was made for any damaged, <br /> missing, or rusted members. <br /> 5) Steel grades have been assumed as follows, unless noted otherwise: <br /> Channel, Solid Round, Angle, Plate ASTM A36 (GR 36) <br /> HSS (Rectangular) ASTM 500 (GR B-46) <br /> HSS (Round) ASTM 500 (GR B-42) <br /> Pipe ASTM A53 (GR 35) <br /> Connection Bolts ASTM A325 <br /> U-Bolts ASTM A307 <br /> Unistrut—P1000 ASTM A570 (GR 33) <br /> 6) The existing building slab&joist details are taken from building drawings by Fossatti Pawlak, Job No. 19- <br /> 042, dated 05/28/2019, and is considered to be correct. <br /> 7) The proposed base frame geometry and connection details are taken from the structural design drawings <br /> by Morrison Hershfield, Site ID: SESEA00380C, dated 02/17/2023, and is considered to be correct. <br /> 8) The proposed loading for Dish Wireless is taken from their RF Data Sheet, Site ID: SESEA00380C, dated <br /> 09/13/2022, and from the preliminary construction drawings completed by Morrison Hershfield, Site ID: <br /> SESEA00380C, dated 01/11/2023, and is considered to be correct. <br /> This analysis may be affected if any assumptions are not valid or have been made in error.
