The exit out the back should swing out in the direction of travel. See IBC 1010.1.2.1. 10. Please show the remainder of the exit corridor out to the alley, including the length of the corridor to the exterior exit door and existing or new lighting. See IBC 107.2.3. 11. Show exit signs on the back alley door and throughout the route to the alley. See IBC 1013.1. 12. Show emergency lighting on battery backup. See IBC 1008.1. 13.
