The applicable codes used in this review include, and are not limited to, the 2021 <br /> International Existing Building Code (IEBC), International Building Code (IBC), <br /> Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), International Fire Code (IFC) and <br /> Washington Accessibility Code (ANSO 117.1-2017). <br /> Applicable codes noted under Project Information on sheet A100. <br /> 2. The scope of work includes demolition work that is not represented on the drawings. <br /> Please show all wall, doors, ceilings, security gates, etc. that are in the scope of the <br /> demolition. <br /> There is no demolition work needed for this scope of work. Therefore, no <br /> demolition is noted or plan provided. <br /> 3. The scope of work can be classified as an Alteration-Levell if no installations of <br /> fixtures, etc. is higher than 5'-9". Please confirm. See IEBC 602.1 and 603.1. <br /> 4 wall sconces will be installed at 7'-7"along the north wall behind the <br /> banquette seating. These are shown on sheets A100 and A101. Otherwise, <br /> there are no other fixtures installed in this scope of work above 5'-9". <br /> 4. All new work is required to meet current code. See IEBC 503.1. <br /> Noted on sheet A100 under Project Information. <br /> 5. The building includes 2 apartments on the second floor which were permitted as <br /> construction type V-1 hour in 1982.The floor/ceiling assembly between the first and <br /> second floor shall remain as a 1-hour separation. Please describe and show all work <br /> that will be done on the ceiling/floor above. <br /> The extents of the scope of work done to the ceiling/floor assembly is a finish <br /> coat of paint on the ceiling. No other modifications or alterations are made to <br /> the assembly. Note added to floor plan on sheet A100. <br /> 6.
