<br />40 <br /> <br />ARTICLE 16 - CIRCULATION ASSISTANT I/SHELVERS <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Circulation Assistant I/Shelvers perform a variety of tasks throughout the Library. Circulation Assistant <br />I/Shelvers work is not seasonal in nature and for this reason the only limitation on employment duration is <br />funding capacity and performance. <br /> <br />A. Circulation Assistant I/Shelvers shall be compensated at the hourly rate schedule identified in <br />Article 7 and Appendix 1. Step increases shall occur consistent with other regular part-time <br />employees. <br /> <br />B. Circulation Assistant I/Shelvers shall accrue holiday based on FTE status in Article 10, however <br />sick leave, vacation time, longevity, and all other benefits on a pro-rated basis based on regular <br />hours worked, with the exception of medical insurance (unless required by law), life insurance <br />and accidental death and dismemberment coverage as outlined in Article 12. Circulation <br />Assistant I/Shelvers shall be covered by all provisions of this Collective Bargaining Agreement, <br />unless otherwise specified. <br /> <br />C. The Library Director shall determine appropriate work shifts for Circulation Assistant I/Shelvers. <br />
