(GeoTest) is pleased to submit this geotechnical engineering
proposal for the property referenced above. Our proposed scope of work and associated fees
are presented herein for your review and approval.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
GeoTest understands that a 19,628 square foot property will be short platted, with the end result
being two separate properties. The project site contains an existing single-family residence with
entry in to the property being along Upland Avenue. GeoTest understands that the existing
residence will remain, but will be renovated to include additional living space and a new detached
garage. A new single-family residence will be constructed to the west of the existing residence
and it is generally expected that the new property line will extend between the two structures.
Geyer Lane exists along the western property boundary and Upland Avenue exists along the
southern property boundary. The property has a moderate slope to the north of the house. The
height and inclination of the slope suggests that geologically hazardous areas are not likely
present on this property. It is expected, however, that some site grading will be needed to
establish a buildable lot adjacent to the existing house. Finally, it is expected that any infiltration
or stormwater detention facilities, if needed, would be constructed to the north of the proposed
houses.
1
