Construction Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs) (2.0) <br /> The SWPPP is a living document reflecting current conditions and changes throughout the life <br /> of the project. These changes may be informal (i.e. hand-written notes and deletions). Update <br /> the SWPPP when the CESCL has noted a deficiency in BMPs or deviation from original design. <br /> The 12 Elements (2.1) <br /> Element 1 : Preserve Vegetation / Mark Clearing Limits (2.1.1) <br /> List and describe BMPs: <br /> BMP C101 Preserving Natural Vegetation: Areas to be protected from construction will be <br /> identified in the field through the use of BMP C103. <br /> BMP C103 High Visibility Plastic or Metal Fence: Clearing limits will be marked in the field by <br /> orange netting per construction plan detail prior to any site construction or clearing. <br /> Installation Schedules: The delineation of clearing limits will take place prior to all other site <br /> work. <br /> Inspection and Maintenance plan: Inspect the area frequently to make sure that fencing is in <br /> place, is visible, and is undamaged. Replace damaged fencing immediately. <br /> Responsible Staff: CESCL and contractor <br />
