No direct impacts to the on-site <br /> wetland,stream,or buffer are proposed. The applicant is proposing to apply the general mitigation <br /> measures for wetlands and provide buffer enhancement in accordance with EMC 19.37.110. <br /> 2.0 WETLAND DETERMINATION <br /> 2.1 REVIEW OF PUBLIC RESOURCES <br /> Prior to conducting the site investigations, public resource information was reviewed to gather <br /> background information on the subject property and the surrounding area in regards to wetlands, <br /> streams, and other critical areas. These sources included the following: <br /> • United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) National Wetlands Inventory(NM <br /> No wetlands are mapped by this source on or near the site. The nearest mapped feature is a <br /> large forested/shrub wetland associated with North Creek, located over 700 feet to the west. <br /> Another smaller wetland is mapped south of SE Everett Mall Way, approximately 800 feet <br /> south of the site. <br /> • USDA/Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS)Web Soil Survey <br /> The NRCS Web Soil Survey indicates that the site is underlain by Alderwood-Urban land <br /> complex, 2 to 8 percent slopes. This unit is not listed as a hydric soil. <br /> • WDFW Priority Habitat and Species (PHS) Interactive Map <br /> No priority habitats or species are mapped on or near the site. The nearest mapped feature is <br /> a freshwater wetland associated with North Creek, located over 700 feet to the west. North <br /> Creek is identified as habitat for Resident Coastal Cutthroat Trout. The small wetland mapped <br /> by NWI on the south side of SE Everett Mall Way is identified by PHS as a freshwater wetland. <br /> • Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) SalmonScape Interactive Mapping <br /> System <br /> SalmonScape maps North Creek over 700 feet off-site to the west. North Creek is documented <br /> habitat for Resident Coastal Cutthroat Trout and gradient accessible to Sockeye Salmon,Coho <br /> Salmon, Winter Steelhead Trout, and Fall Chinook Salmon.
