March 19, 2025 <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />AWARD – 2025 CHAPLAIN BLOWDOWN TIMBER SALVAGE SALE <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Vice President Zarlingo, to Award the 2025 <br />Chaplain Blowdown Timber Salvage Sale (#2025-02) to the highest responsible bidder, Cherry <br />Valley Logging Company, in the amount of $1,323,650 and authorize the Mayor to sign the <br />timber sale contract. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Bader who was <br />excused. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin left the meeting at 6:56 p.m. <br /> <br />BRIEFINGS: <br /> <br /> Everett 2044 <br /> Presented by Yorik Stevens-Wajda, Planning <br /> <br />Discussion ensued with Yorik Stevens-Wajda and Alice Ann Wetzel answering Council questions. <br /> <br />President Schwab made a map amendment for Glenwood and Kenwood to change the zoning <br />from MU4 and UR 7 to be zoned to MU7 & UR7. <br /> <br />President Schwab made a map amendment for Mukilteo Boulevard to remove the UR4 zoning <br />from Glenwood Avenue to Sound Avenue. <br /> <br />President Schwab made a map amendment for 2506-2606 Wetmore Avenue to change the <br />zoning from MU7 to MU15. <br /> <br />Considerable discussion ensued with Yorik Stevens-Wadja answering council questions. Council <br />Members Rhyne and Vogeli requested additional information on policies related to <br />displacement. Council agreed to table discussion for another meeting. <br /> <br />President Schwab made a map amendment for 2701 Hoyt Avenue, currently zoned at MU7-9, to <br />be proposed zoning of MU15. <br />
