GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING STUDY <br /> PROPOSED ASSISTED LIVING <br /> MEMORY CARE FACILITY <br /> 3214 BROADWAY AVENUE NORTH <br /> EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> ES-0599.05 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> General <br /> This geotechnical engineering study was prepared for the proposed assisted living facility to be <br /> located at 3214 Broadway Avenue North, Everett, Washington. The purpose of this study was <br /> to review the project information provided us, perform subsurface exploration at the subject site, <br /> and prepare geotechnical recommendations for the proposed development. Our scope of <br /> services for completing this geotechnical engineering study included the following: <br /> • Subsurface exploration and characterization of the soil and groundwater conditions; <br /> • Temporary excavation and shoring design recommendations, as appropriate; <br /> • Site grading, drainage, structural fill requirements, and other project-specific <br /> geotechnical recommendations; <br /> • Soil bearing capacity, subgrade preparation, and recommendations for foundation <br /> support; <br /> • An assessment of the suitability of site soils for use as structural fill, and; <br /> • Other pertinent geotechnical recommendations, as appropriate. <br /> The following documents were reviewed as part of preparing this geotechnical engineering <br /> study: <br /> • Geologic Map of Washington -Northwest Quadrant, Joe D.
