Parking facilities for shoreline activities shall provide safe and convenient pedestrian circulation <br /> within the parking area and to the shorelines. <br /> ' The proposed parking will be adjacent to the public access pathway providing convenient access to the <br /> shoreline for the public. <br /> 6. The project is located upriver from the SR 529 bridge and will be used for non-water- <br /> !' dependent industrial and commercial use per EMC 19.33.D.140. <br /> Ecological Restoration and Public Access Compliance <br /> The proposed project will provide restoration of native plantings within the shoreline of the <br /> Snohomish River. This restoration will provide public access and improve stormwater infiltration <br /> beyond what currently exists at the subject property per the City of Everett's 2010 manual. <br /> The Port of Everett's plans to remove the bulkhead within the 50-foot set back from the shoreline <br /> and will provide plantings and restoration of the riparian area within the 50-foot setback, including <br /> allowing public access and a pathway. This project will be addressed by the Port of Everett. This 50- <br /> foot setback is the required right-of-way maintained by the Port that is required by the regulations of <br /> the Shoreline Management Act and EMC 19.33D.520 and 19.33D.580.
