PUBLIC WORKS <br /> El/ Eli <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: Kelsey Heyd, Planning Department <br /> FROM: Engineering/Public Services Department <br /> DATE: Nov.11, 2016 <br /> SUBJECT: SEPA Checklist Review No. SEPA-036 <br /> PROPOSAL: Hayes Street Sewer Improvements <br /> LOCATION: Hayes Street and adjacent alleyway behind E.Marine View Drive <br /> A review of this project by the Engineering/Public Services Department indicates that the following <br /> conditions should apply: <br /> 1. Full standard half street improvements are required to_, including but not limited to curb, <br /> gutter, sidewalks, street widening and drainage control per City Design Standards. In lieu of these <br /> improvements the applicant may elect to pay into the area wide pedestrian fund. <br /> 2. Parking must be per City Zoning Code and City Design and Construction Standards for <br /> Development. <br /> Repave alley and street per City standards. <br /> 4. Any grading/fill on this site shall be done so as to not impact the surrounding properties. <br /> Pave the alley per City of Everett Standards. <br /> 6. Stormwater shall be managed in accordance with the City's standard. <br /> 7. The driveways on must be removed and replaced <br /> with curb, gutter and sidewalk per City standards. <br /> 8. Approval of construction plans will require demonstration that all pertinent standards and <br /> regulations are met. <br /> 9. A fire hydrant is required within 200 driving feet but not closer than 50 feet of every structure. <br /> 10. A fire hydrant is required within 350 driving feet of every structure. The hydrant(s) must meet <br /> City specifications. <br /> 11. City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris at all times during construction. <br /> Dust suppression and street cleaning must occur. <br /> 12. A one year warranty is required on the public improvement for an amount not less than 10% of <br /> the cost of construction and shall run for one ye the date of final approval/issuance of the <br /> first Occupancy Permit. j1/12 <br />
