Page 3
Ms. Sabrina Fandler
May 23, 2017
vaults shall be shown on the plan views. The location and size of these openings shall be consistent
with the structural plans for the vaults.
Response: Vault Access points have been added at each V for sediment removal.
C-2.17: for consistency, please label the top detail with the vault number (such as is done on the other
vault detail sheets)
Response: Vault number added.
Storm Chamber System — sheet C-2.15
The control structure is labeled CB#10X — which isn't shown on the plan view (sheet C-2.7... ?)
Response: The control structure (CB#109) now has a bubble callout referencing the detail for plan
clarity.
In the Isolator Row Detail at the lower right corner of the sheet, please note than an inspection port
is required (as opposed to being optional). Please also show the location of this inspector port on the
plan view (sheet C-2.7).
Response: Inspection port now labeled as required and shown on the plan sheet.
It would seem to me the Storm Chamber System should be wrapped with an impermeable liner to
prevent infiltration from this facility in this location. However, the Storm Chamber System detail on
sheet C-2.15 shows lining of the rock with ADS Geosynthetics 601T, which has the following
specifications....
Response: Additional 30 mil PVC Geomembrane impermeable liner shall be installed in addition to
the 601T Geosynthetic liner as specified by ADS (See note 7 on sheet C-2.15)
I spoke with Sabrina yesterday about walls and rockeries on our site and asked if those need to be
fully permitted prior to issuance of the public works permit. She told me that the public works permit
can be issued without completion of the other permits as long as there was a note on the
phasing/TESL plans that clearly states that grading in areas that will need to be stabilized by rockeries
or walls will not occur until those items have been completely permitted. Will you please add this to
your plans with the other comment responses you are marking up?
Response: The following note has been added to the TESC plans. "Grading in areas that will need
to be stabilized by rockeries or walls shall not occur until those items have been completely
permitted"
On the plan views, please call -out a solid lid for all catch basins and manholes conveying only "clean"
runoff that has already received treatment (post MWS) or won't require/receive treatment (roof
runoff).
