March 12, 2025 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., March 12, 2025, <br />by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Vice President Zarlingo, Council Members Bader, Rhyne, Vogeli, <br />Tuohy, and President Schwab were present. Mayor Franklin and Council Member Fosse were <br />both excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the March 5, 2025 meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />President Schwab read a proclamation declaring March 2025 as American Red Cross Month. This <br />is a joint proclamation from the Mayor and City Council. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to approve and issue <br />a proclamation declaring March 2025 as American Red Cross Month. <br /> <br />President Schwab invited Alex Newman from the American Red Cross to accept the proclamation. <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Fosse who was <br />excused. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The Council received one (1) written comment and the following members of the public spoke: <br />Josef Stremick and Julie Smith. <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br />
