Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians has requested to be present during any excavations to identify any <br /> cultural resources,if present and discovered during excavation. <br /> d. Proposed measures to avoid, minimize, or compensate for loss, changes to, and disturbance <br /> to resources. Please include plans for the above and any permits that may be required. Jhelpl <br /> The proposed project's federal environmental documentation process(NEPA) included reviews by <br /> the Federal Transit Administration,DAHP,and the Tribes with possible interest and knowledge in <br /> the area/site. All reviewers concur that the proposed project will avoid any historic or cultural <br /> resources. Additionally,the Stillaguamish Tribes requested notification prior to any digging on the <br /> site so they could identify any cultural resources,if present and discovered during excavation. <br /> 14. Transportation Jhelpl <br /> a. Identify public streets and highways serving the site or affected geographic area and <br /> describe proposed access to the existing street system. Show on site plans, if any. Jhelpj <br /> The project site is served by Seaway Boulevard and 75th St SW. State Route 526 is located <br /> approximately 2,400 feet south of the project site. <br /> b. Is the site or affected geographic area currently served by public transit? If so, generally <br /> describe. If not, what is the approximate distance to the nearest transit stop?Jhelpj <br /> Community Transit Routes 227,247,277,and 280 travel past the project site on Seaway Boulevard <br /> with the nearest stop located on Seaway Boulevard and Boeing Perimeter Road. Everett Transit <br /> currently serves 75th and Seaway Blvd and will provide service to the proposed transit facility. <br /> c. How many additional parking spaces would the completed project or non-project proposal <br /> have? How many would the project or proposal eliminate?Jhelpl <br /> The proposed transit project will not provide any public parking spaces. The project will provide <br /> parking for buses and transit operations. <br /> d. Will the proposal require any new or improvements to existing roads, streets, pedestrian, <br /> bicycle or state transportation facilities, not including driveways? If so, generally describe <br /> (indicate whether public or private). <br /> Project will install new traffic signals on 75th street. 75th St SW will be widened and the <br /> channelization will be revised. <br /> e. Will the project or proposal use (or occur in the immediate vicinity of)water, rail, or air <br /> transportation? If so, generally describe. Jhelpl <br /> Project will not use water,rail,or air transportation. <br /> f. How many vehicular trips per day would be generated by the completed project or proposal? <br /> If known, indicate when peak volumes would occur and what percentage of the volume would <br /> be trucks (such as commercial and nonpassenger vehicles).
