Since <br /> the City is using the optional DNS process,this may be the only opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental checklist and the proposed mitigation measures listed in the proposed Addendum to MDNS. <br /> Application: On 06-03-2011,an application was submitted to the City of Everett Planning Department.The <br /> application was determined to be complete for purposes of processing for public review on 09-30-2011. <br /> Applicant: Boyd Benson Project Location: 501 E.Marine View Dr. <br /> P.O.Box 219 <br /> Freeland,WA 98249 <br /> Project Description: Revision-06/03/2011. Revised plans and SEPA application submitted to request placement <br /> of an additional 150,000 cubic yards of fill material on the southern portion of the site. The finished grade would <br /> have an elevation of 50 feet,rather than 32 feet as approved in the original application. This is shown as"Phase 1" <br /> on the site plan on file at the Planning Department. Future phases would place additional fill within a portion of the <br /> E.Marine View Drive right-of-way and on City-owned park property,both of which abut the site. Phases 2 and 3 <br /> will require additional approvals and permitting from the City of Everett. <br /> Required City Permits: Public Works permit/Grading permit <br /> Other Agency Permits: The following is a list of permits required by other agencies to the extent known by the City <br /> of Everett: Consent from Puget Sound Energy for any work within natural gas line easement <br /> Special Studies: The following special studies were required as part of this application: Geotechnical evaluation of <br /> potential impact offill on gas line(AESI—July 22, 2011) <br /> Existing Environmental Documents: An environmental checklist,special studies listed above,and other information <br /> necessary to analyze the environmental impacts of this proposal are on file with the Everett Planning and <br /> Community Development Department and may be reviewed at 2930 Wetmore Avenue,Suite 8-A,Everett, <br /> Washington(a proposed Addendum containing the conditions being considered to mitigate environmental impacts <br /> has been issued for this proposal and is available for review at the above address). <br /> Public Comment Period: Written comments on the application and the proposed MDNS are solicited and <br /> must be received at the Everett Planning Department,2930 Wetmore Avenue,Suite 8-A,Everett,Washington <br /> by October 17,2011. Any person who submits written comments will receive a copy of the notice of decision.
