ADDENDUM <br /> MITIGATED DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE <br /> SEPA#06-014 <br /> Benson Site Fill <br /> DESCRIPTION OF ORIGINAL PROPOSAL: The proposed action is to import and place <br /> clean fill to cap a site(up to 150,000 cubic yards)in the ASARCO lowlands with an average of <br /> 15-16 feet of soil. The proposal is part of a voluntary cleanup program through the Department <br /> of Ecology to address potentially contaminated soils. No specific development is proposed at <br /> this time. <br /> ADDENDUM: Revision-06/03/2011. Revised plans and SEPA application submitted to <br /> request placement of an additional 150,000 cubic yards of fill material on the southern portion of <br /> the site. The finished grade would have an elevation of 50 feet,rather than 32 feet as approved <br /> in the original application. This is shown as"Phase 1"on the site plan on file at the Planning <br /> Department. Future phases would place additional fill within a portion of the E. Marine View <br /> Drive right-of-way and on City-owned park property,both of which abut the site.
