IP FIRE EXTINGUISHERS. Sec. 5 : Two liquid chemical fire-extinguishers, or such greater number as ray be required and direbtOeW, 4hte Chief of Fire Department of a size , natureltype, or pattern approved by the Chief of Fire Department, all to be continuously maintained in good work- ing order, shall be kept at all times ready for use, one inside the operating room or booth, the other located immediately outside said room or booth and near the entrance-door of same. SHUTTERS FOR OPENIEGS. Sec. 6: There shall be not more than two openings in the booth for each machine, One for the operator and one for the machine. The opening for the machine shall not exceed 64 square inches, that for th.- operator' s view not more than 100 square inches. Shutters shall be made of sheet steel or iron not less than Noo 14.B. and S guage strengthened by a 11 inch by 14 inch by t inch angle riveted to the bottom of same and shall be weighted if necessary to make their closing positive , and when closed must fit the openieg tightly. Only vertical sliding shutters are permitted. Guides for shutters shall be constructed of steel or iron not smaller than 3/8 inch by 1 inch properly grooved to receive shutter o- may be built up of strap iron securely riveted together. The length of the guides shall not be less than twice that of the shutter. Shutters for openings shall be arranged to trip through the agency of an approved device which shall reliably and positive- ly perform the service for which it is intended. The trigger or , trip shall be placed directly over the operator' s head. In addi- tion to a manual trip there shall be included a standard fusible link ao arranged that An case of undue heating it shall automatical- . ly trip the shutters.
