The committee also reviewed the proposed <br /> monument sign for the Children's clinic building, which it determined was consistent with the <br /> design guidelines, in that other freestanding signs on the property frontage were considered as <br /> directional signs. The DRC also discussed the relevant design criteria related to building <br /> orientation to the abutting residential neighborhood, building massing, building materials, <br /> location of windows and doors, screening of loading and dumpster areas, architectural <br /> treatment of the building entrance, screening of rooftop mechanical equipment, parking lot <br /> landscaping, and building height. <br /> The DRC expressed its satisfaction to City staff that the project design complies with the <br /> adopted design guidelines of Ordinance No. 3090-08. <br /> DESIGN DECISION: <br /> The Planning Director/SEPA Responsible Official hereby approves the project design as <br /> consistent with the Design Guidelines and Development Standards of the master plan, as <br /> stated in exhibits attached to Ordinance No. 3090-08. <br /> 1 ' 6 Date: UfL I- <br /> lan Gif n, Director <br /> tannin & Community Development Department <br />
