a. General description of the site:
(circle one):CFlat)olling, hilly, steep slopes, mountainous, other
b. What is the steepest slope on the site (approximate percent slope)? Site is sloped towards
the NW at about 2%;Paved areas are also sloped to existing storm drains. The Pai9nt booth will
not affect storm water runoff
c. What general types of soils are found on the site (for example, clay, sand, gravel, peat,
muck)? If you know the classification of agricultural soils, specify them and note any
agricultural land of long-term commercial significance and whether the proposal results in
removing any of these soils. The current site is paved. We are removing existing paving in
order to install a new structural slab. We will be removing about 8"of surficial soils(base
material from previous paving.
d. Are there surface indications or history of unstable soils in the immediate vicinity? If so,
describe. No unstable soils In the vicinity;no evidence of unstable soils.
e. Describe the purpose, type, total area, and approximate quantities and total affected area
of any filling, excavation, and grading proposed. Indicate source of fill. Area of new paving is
approx. 1,400 sf/depth of excavation is 8";total volume of new materials(paving and gravel
base)is approximately 35 cubic yards
f. Could erosion occur as a result of clearing, construction, or use? If so, generally describe.
No erosion anticipated from the proposed work. Site is flat and on site work is paving only.
g. About what percent of the site will be covered with impervious surfaces after project
construction (for example, asphalt or buildings)? The existing site is 100%impervious;the site
will remain impervious.
h. Proposed measures to reduce or control erosion, or other impacts to the earth, if any: We
will install filter fabric in catch basins and coir logs to direct surface water during paving
operations
2. Air
a. What types of emissions to the air would result from the proposal during construction,
operation, and maintenance when the project is completed? If any, generally describe and
give approximate quantities if known.
The Paint Booth is equipped with a 3-stage filtration system. The first stage is a polyester
media with an efficiency of 99.66%with a holding capacity of almost two pounds per square
foot.
The second stage is panel of 3 layered polyester media impregnated with two non-migrating
tackifiers.
The third stage is a bag filter specialized for small particle sizes, which is designed to meet
efficiency requirements of the aerospace NESHAP guidelines
b. Are there any off-site sources of emissions or odor that may affect your proposal? If so,
generally describe.
There are no off-site sources of emissions or odors that will affect the project.
c. Proposed measures to reduce or control emissions or other impacts to air, ill any:
Minimize the operating time of exhaust systems serving the booth only to when coating
operations occur. All coatings containers will be sealed when not being used.
3. Water
a. Surface Water:
1) Is there any surface water body on or in the immediate vicinity of the site (including
year-round and seasonal streams, saltwater, lakes, ponds, wetlands)? If yes, describe
SEPA Environmental checklist(WAC 197-11-960) July 2016 Page 3 of 10
