Benyam Stephanos
From: Erik Emerson
Sent: Wednesday, October 11, 2017 5:15 PM
To: Benyam Stephanos
Subject: SEPA 17-017 Dagmars Boat Launch Dredge
Benyam,
I've reviewed the SEPA checklist and JARPA forms for the Dagmars Boat Launch Dredging. Based on the information
provided I don't see any trigger for stormwater review. However, you should consider the following:
1. The project must comply with all applicable state and federal requirements for work within the Snohomish
River.
2. Temporary storage and dewatering of removed sediment must be conducted in accordance with applicable
standards including Section 2 of the City's Design and Construction Standards and Specifications for
Development.Appropriate BMPs will be required to ensure that sediment and other pollutants do not enter
surface waters as part of the temporary storage.
3. Permanent disposal of the dredged material should be disposed of in a manner compliant with applicable
sediment control and permanent stormwater standards.
Erik Emerson PE
City of Everett, Public Works
Senior Surface Water Engineer
3200 Cedar Street
Everett, WA 98201
Direct: 425-257-8995, Fax: (425)257-8882
eemerson@everettwa.gov
1
