Please review and respond to the <br />comments below. <br />General <br />1. The building is being reviewed under the International Residential Code vs. the Building code as <br />submitted. <br />2. The dwelling unit should be equipped with a whole -house ventilation system designed and <br />installed as specified in Section M1505. Section R303.4 <br />3. The dwelling unit should be shown to comply as a new structure vs. an alteration as it is a change <br />of use from a business to residential occupancy. Residential Energy Code Section R505 <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building <br />Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. <br />Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br />All codes cited refer to the 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), and/or the 2018 Residential Energy <br />Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett. The current <br />IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" <br />(ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive. <br />These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other <br />departments (such as Utilities, Traffic, Planning or Fire).
