Please review and respond to the comments below. General 1. The building is being reviewed under the International Residential Code vs. the Building code as submitted. 2. The dwelling unit should be equipped with a whole -house ventilation system designed and installed as specified in Section M1505. Section R303.4 3. The dwelling unit should be shown to comply as a new structure vs. an alteration as it is a change of use from a business to residential occupancy. Residential Energy Code Section R505 In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. All codes cited refer to the 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), and/or the 2018 Residential Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive. These comments address building issues only.
