CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />LS47-Beverly Lake Sewer Replacement Division 1 – GENERAL REQUIREMENTS January 30, 2025 <br />WO No – UP3529 SP – 106 <br />b. Increase the number of working hours per shift, shifts per working day, <br />working days per week, or the amount of Equipment, or any combination of <br />the foregoing. <br />c. Reschedule activities. <br />If requested by the City’s Representative, the Contractor shall prepare a proposed <br />schedule revision demonstrating a plan to make up the lag in progress and insure <br />completion of the Work within the Contract Time. All actions taken to return the Project <br />to the accepted schedule are at the Contractor's expense. <br />The Contractor shall pay all costs incurred by the City that result from the Contractor's <br />action to return the Project to its accepted schedule, including, but not limited to, <br />additional, overtime, or third party inspection, design and construction management <br />service costs. Contractor agrees that City shall deduct such charges from payments <br />due the Contractor. It is further understood and agreed that none of the services <br />performed by the City’s Representative in monitoring, reviewing and reporting Project <br />status and progress shall relieve the Contractor of responsibility for planning and <br />managing construction Work in conformance with the construction schedule. <br /> <br />1-08.4(2) Special Construction Constraints <br />(******) <br />Refer to 1-08.0(2) for work hours. <br />Refer to 1-07.23(1) for construction under traffic and 1.07.23(1)A for general traffic <br />requirements. <br />Phase construction and provide rolling two-week look-ahead schedules in such a <br />manner that: <br /> <br />7404 Evergreen Way – Construction on this site should occur on weekends or in the <br />evenings if possible (Noise Variance required). Otherwise access to the frontage <br />parking the south driveway and southwest parking area shall be always maintained with <br />traffic control. Planned impacts to this property must be planned and shared with the <br />City at each weekly Progress Meeting. Impact planning should include Task Description; <br />Pedestrian & Parking Impacts; Traffic Control Plans; and Schedule of Activities <br />801 75th St SE Beverly Village Apartments – Construction at Beverly Village shall be <br />accessed through the NE corner of the Shoreside Apartment parking lot. Planned <br />impacts to this property must be documented and shared with the City at each weekly <br />Progress Meeting. Impact Planning should include Task Description; Pedestrian & <br />Parking Impacts; Traffic Control Plans; and Schedule of Activities. Contractor shall <br />secure and safeguard work on the Beverly Village site at the end of each work day. <br /> <br />747 75th St SE Lakeside Apartments – Construction at Lakeside shall be accessed <br />through the SE and SW entrances to the Lakeside complex. Pedestrian and traffic and <br />parking access should be always allowed unless previous notice has been provided to <br />the City and property owner’s representative three-days in advance. Impacts to this <br />property must be planned and shared with the City at each weekly Progress Meeting. <br />Impact Planning should include Task Description; Pedestrian & Parking Impacts; Traffic <br />Control Plans; and Schedule of Activities. The contractor shall secure and safeguard <br />work on the Lakeside site at the end of each work day. <br />
