<br />(s)Utility or light pole holding in conformance with the requirements of the applicable
<br />utility including, if necessary, arranging for the utility to hold poles and paying the
<br />associated fees.
<br />(t)Where trench excavation is proposed, dewatering, installation of pipe, furnishing,
<br />placing, and compacting sand backfill for pipe bedding, furnishing, placing and
<br />compacting suitable native material for trench backfill and placing and
<br />compacting imported backfill material. No extra payment shall be made for
<br />removing, loading, hauling, and disposing of displaced and unsuitable material
<br />or handling and disposal of drilling fluids and cuttings
<br />(u)At least 7 days prior to mobilizing equipment Contractor shall submit a detailed
<br />installation plan to the Engineer. The plan shall include a detailed plan and profile
<br />of the bores and be plotted at a scale no smaller than 1 inch equals 20 feet
<br />horizontal and vertical including traffic control
<br />(v)Maintenance, restoration and/or relocation, if required, of existing culverts, storm
<br />drainage pipe, other utilities and structures affected by construction that are to
<br />remain.
<br />(w)Ethafoam pads or sand backfill between FM and other pipes.
<br />(x)Maintenance of existing side sewer and provisions for interim service.
<br />(y)Extra depth, including excavation, backfill and compaction required to clear
<br />known buried utilities or other known obstacles.
<br />Bid Item 32 - WATER SERVICE, 1-INCH ENCASED IN 4” HDPE (HDD)
<br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Lineal Foot (LF).
<br />The unit contract price for Water Service, 1-inch PVC encased in 4” HDPE (DIRECTIONALLY
<br />DRILLED), shall constitute full compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment
<br />necessary for new service lines continuous and unspliced from the LS Service to a new meter
<br />setter in accordance with Parts C-G of COE Standard Drawing No. 501, or Parts D-G of COE
<br />Standard Drawing No. 502, including yet not limited to, connecting to service connection
<br />saddle, street pavement, concrete curb, concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway, and
<br />concrete sidewalk removal, unless installed using approved boring methods; furnishing,
<br />installing, and testing to curb stop, valves, fittings, and installation of service line, and
<br />appurtenances; providing a #10 copper tracer wire for polyethylene pipe, compaction,
<br />connection to existing or new meter setter including fittings; dewatering; testing; removal or
<br />abandonment of existing service connection.
<br />Bid Item 33 - WATER SERVICE CONNECTION, 1-INCH
<br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA)
<br />The unit contract price for Water Service Connection, 1-Inch, shall constitute full
<br />compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to connect new 1-inch
<br />service lines off existing 12-Inch WM and connecting with the new service line in accordance
<br />with Detail 4, Drawing D1. Work includes, yet not limited to, tee, trench excavation, backfill
<br />and compaction; street pavement, concrete curb, concrete curb and gutter, concrete
<br />driveway and concrete sidewalk removal; clearing and grubbing; testing; lawn restoration
<br />including seeding or sodding; dewatering; and removal or abandonment of existing service
<br />connection.
