April 9, 2025 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., April 9, 2025, by <br />President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Zarlingo, Bader, Rhyne, Vogeli, Tuohy, and <br />President Schwab were present. Mayor Franklin and Council Member Fosse were excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the April 2, 2025 meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The Council received no written comment, and the following member(s) of the public spoke: <br />Timothy Chipman, Annie Lyman, and Paula Townsell <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Quick Quack Car Wash <br />in South Everett, as well as the Washington State University (WSU) Everett Hackathon – <br />CougHacks. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader attended the Puget Sound Regional Council Growth Management <br />Committee and the Riverside Neighborhood meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne thanked the public commenters, attended and spoke at the Hands-Off <br />Rally last Saturday, which was sponsored by Snohomish County Indivisible and Community <br />Partners, and attended the Parks and Built Environment Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli thanked the public commenters, attended the Boys and Girls Club Arbor <br />Day event and the Parks and Built Environment Committee meeting. <br /> <br />
