Do not click links or open attachments
unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.
Tony,
I know you are busy, but I need to have some guidance and the minimum requirements from the city for
this engineering. As the City is backed up on reviews, I think it's reasonable to allow us to provide 8-
1/2x11 SKs (sketches) with my stamp on it. The knee wall changes are not significant and I have already
completed the analysis and design. The SKs would be attached to the approved plans for the inspector
and I can email them to you for City files.
Thanks,
Jesse Binford, PE, Principal
CINVESTIGATIVE
ENGINEERS, LLC
RESPONSIVE • ACCURATE • THOROUGH
3605 C Street NE, Auburn, WA. 98002
253-670-9513 (c) 253-833-5557 (o)
From: Jesse Binford
Sent: Tuesday, January 2, 2024 7:12 AM
To: tlee@everettwa.gov
Cc: Matt Togstad <matt.togstad@goldencoastco.com>; Alexander Stelmakh
<alexanders@goldencoastco.com>
Subject: Permit B2309-040 Coletti Fire Engineering Required (BCIE No. 23021)
Tony,
The contractor, Golden Coast, forwarded me a PDF of the approved plans for the subject permit. There
were markups indicating the (E) knee wall could not be moved without approved
engineering. Construction is in progress and the owner has decided to have the knee wall
moved/replaced.
I know Everett is backed up with reviews, so I am concerned about a significant delay with this
change. What is the minimum you will accept for this change? Can I provide a stamped letter with
attached sketches as needed?
