I have copied your questions <br />below followed by my response in italics. <br />1. Please dimension the deck cantilever framing for structural review <br />a. Deck support centerline is shown on Sheet 3 as 6'40 ", Deck dimensions are shown on <br />Sheet 2 as 8'-0 "for a total cantilever distance of 1'-2 ". Added dimension to Sheet 2 for <br />clarity. <br />2. It appears that shear wall callouts are not on the plans. <br />a. Shear wall callouts are shown on Sheet 2 (SWI, SW2, SW2). The shear wall schedule is <br />shown on Sheet S. <br />3. It appears hold down straps between floors are not shown on the plans. <br />a. The 2"d floor straps are MSTC401 called out on Sheet 2, 2"d floor plan. <br />4. Please provide header to king stud detail per IRC Table 603.7(2), including header size, quantity, <br />connection. <br />a. The referenced table is for steel stud framing. There is no IRC table for wood header <br />fasteners. Header detail added to show king stud requirements. Header sizes are called <br />out on Sheet 2. <br />5. Please provide a fastening schedule per IRC 602.3(1) <br />a. Fastener schedule added to supplemental sheet S01 <br />6. The foundation details on sheet 5 indicate there will be a crawl space but it appears that the lower <br />level will be on slab on grade according to the foundation plan on sheet 3. Please clarify by <br />adjusting details to reflect the proposed construction. <br />a. Added new foundation detail for floor slab <br />7. The project appears to include prefabricated roof trusses. See IRC R802.10. The drawings should <br />include a note specifying the following: <br />a. The trusses should be designed by a professional engineer licensed int eh state of <br />Washington. <br />i.
