Driven by Excellence." <br />Ot NFLST <br />A New Fire Alarm System for: <br />AT HOME # 334 <br />1302 SE Everett Mall Way <br />Everett, WA <br />System/Installation Narrative: <br />This project is for a Fire Alarm System to be installed in a retail space. It is an `S/B/M' Occupancy type. <br />The space is approximately 86'000ft2. The building is fully sprinklered per NFPA13. The U.L. listed, <br />addressable, manual and automatic fire alarm system will meet the requirements of 2019 OSSC, OFSC, <br />2017 NEC, all local and adopted Building and Fire codes, including all published, adopted amendments. <br />Installation standards will adhere to NFPA72, 2016 edition. <br />The system design is by Mike Mahoney, CFPS, SET, (NICET level IV), Senior Designer for ADT, LLC <br />Security Services. Email: mmahoney(a,adt.com , Ph. direct line: 407-551-8131 <br />➢ The Fire Alarm System will consist of: <br />o Firelite ES 20OX <br />0 1 remote annunciators (Main entry) <br />o Sprinkler Water Flow, Tamper Switch monitoring. <br />o Manual Pull Station <br />o Smoke Detector installed above the FACP <br />o Notification devices throughout space. <br />o HVAC Duct Smoke Monitoring <br />➢ The Fire Alarm System, Notification (NAC) circuits, shall be Class `B' wired and the initiating <br />(SLC) circuit shall be Class `A' wired. All wiring will be supervised. <br />➢ The fire alarm system will be monitored by a U.L. Listed Central Station for Remote System Type <br />monitoring. No Runner Service. U.L. Certificate enclosed. <br />➢ Off Premise notification shall be accomplished by Cellular back-up communication methods. All <br />NFPA 72, 2019 Edition, Ch.26 Criteria has been met. <br />➢ Tamper Switches as a supervisory signal. Water Flow Switches, Manual Pull Stations, and the Smoke <br />Detector will activate all ADA compliant, ADAAG, 4.28.1, Horn/Strobes. <br />➢ All Horn/Strobe and Strobe appliances will be synchronized and installed using NFPA72, for room and <br />hallway/corridor spacing for ceiling and/or wall mounted appliances. All Horns will be set to high <br />volume levels and shall produce a synchronized temporal tone. <br />AT Home # 334 <br />8-18-2022 <br />
