The design of the anchors and holdowns should <br /> comply with the shear and uplift design requirements of ACI 318-14 Sections 17.2.3.5.3 and <br /> 17.2.3.4.3, respectively, and Section 17.2.3.3. See IBC Sections 1604.1, 1604.4, 1604.9, <br /> and 1901.2. <br /> 11. Detail E/2 appears to depict portal frame wall bracing. The detail does not comply with the <br /> prescriptive requirements of IRC Section R602.10.6.
